Virtual Lessons

Via Google Meet

$110 Initial Lesson

$60 Follow-Up Lessons

$25 Rescue Lessons!

  • The Initial Lesson lasts 2-3 hours. We will gather all the information about what you’re dealing with and start a few training exercises.

You will receive a follow-up breakdown afterwards along with a homework chart.

To get started, fill out this Intake Form-

    Then schedule your appointment here-

  • Follow-up Lessons last 60-90 minutes. We will check in about items from the last lesson and implement any changes as needed as well as learn 1-2 new exercises or skills.

  • This will depend on a variety of factors. For issues like reactivity, separation anxiety, or stranger issues, plan for at least one monthly lesson for minimum a year. It may take longer or you may reach your goals sooner- this is just a good estimate to get you started.

Puppies and adolescents grow and change so fast so until they are adults (around two years), it would be wise to plan for at least one lesson a month or every other month. Attending a group class with your young dog if possible is also beneficial on top of private training.

For other issues they may be remedied by one or two lessons. You may also simply enjoy learning new things you can do for yourself and your dog and can schedule as much as you like!

The amount of lessons needed does not determine your success. Every dog, person, and circumstance is different and deserves unique care and attention.

Virtual vs. In-Person doesn’t necessarily change your timeline. There are benefits to both! You can choose to do a mix of both services if you like based on your current availability.

Hannah suggests lessons every 2-4 weeks, but you can schedule as little or as much as you want. You can always reach back out to Hannah at any point during your dog’s life whether that’s weeks or years after your last lesson.

  • You will need a computer, phone, iPad, etc. connected to good Internet with a camera and a microphone. If you prefer just audio calls that is fine too! I personally love to use my phone as a hotspot for my laptop so I can be anywhere like a beautiful field while working!

It is helpful to have a pen and paper or take notes on your computer even though Hannah will send you recaps. Even if you just throw it away afterward, writing things down helps our human brains solidify the information!

Your dog does not necessarily need to be with you during the call. Hannah will let you know if your dog is ever needed, but you will likely record training sessions or situations on your own and send to Hannah via Google Drive.

If your dog struggles while you are busy on a call, go ahead and prepare them a long lasting, safe enrichment item like a frozen kong. If you’re able to get them some good mental and physical exercise beforehand as well, great!

Find a comfy chair, get a snack and a drink, and get ready to learn!

  • Virtual lessons don’t necessarily take away anything from your learning experience with your dog! In fact, they can actually help the process by eliminating distractions and keeping your dog stress-free.

Trainers don’t always need to see the behaviors your dog performs to be able to help with them. In fact, our first priority will be setting up a plan to prevent your dog from being able to engage in what we’re trying to get away from. Dogs form habits just like we do and a primary goal in any behavior modification plan is setting better and safer habits into place.

Some dogs are going to become reactive, fearful, or over-excited by a new visitor to the home. By going virtual, Hannah can get all the details about your pup and teach you how to teach them effectively. You are the most important human to them after all!

You can attend virtual lessons anywhere- from your office, your backyard, Starbuck’s, or in your car at the park! This can be your excuse for some you-time to soak up some knowledge and tips on self-care all while training your dog!

Depending on your dog’s behaviors we may start on a walk first. Hannah will bring treats and any other items needed to start training. We may also stick around the house and train there. This will depend on your goals and what your dog will be most successful with.

At each hour long lesson we will learn 1-3 skills, observe dog body language, and detail what we see together that will set both you and your do pup for success!

We can also meet at a local park if you like! After an initial lesson at your home or park, Hannah can then attend any vet or grooming appointments, family gatherings, or other events with you if needed for the same price as a lesson. We can also visit other dog-friendly training locations such as Lowe’s, Bridgestreet, or appropriate restaurants/cafes/breweries.
