Ony is short for Onyxia, a dragon from WoW and a very appropriate animal for her to be named after. Hannah’s boyfriend named her this and Hannah decided it was a good idea to keep it since he wasn’t immediately smitten with the idea of adding another animal to the family like she was (it worked). She was found in their parking lot and after an hours long chase, she became an inside kitty, but not before giving Hannah cat scratch fever during her abduction. She is markedly not canine- Hannah’s first feline as an adult. She has shown Hannah how truly amazing cats are as companions, living with her being so easy and rewarding Hannah wonders why people get dogs at all.. just kidding, kind of. She and Flash became fast friends, Capri is unbothered as this is likely the 465th new animal she has met in her lifetime, and Keller want to chase bad, but is coming around to accepting her as part of the family slowly…

  • You may very well spend weeks, months, possibly even years getting to your training and behavior goals with your dog.

If you’re going to spend this time anyway, why not get it at a discounted price?

Dog training is actually a human sport. It is quite the complex science too. It requires us to solidify new habits, change our communication, and do some deep observation, internally and externally. It is akin to learning a new language or taking a college course!

It is possible to get everything you need to live a rewarding life with your dog from YouTube or shared knowledge of friends, but for many dogs and people it is actually a long, in-depth process.

However, it might not be just about reaching goals. It might simply be about giving your dog the most enriching life you can!

For a dog experiencing severe behavioral issues*, it is of utmost importance to start the training process promptly and stay consistent throughout.

It is extremely overwhelming and exhausting for the pet parent to live with this type of dog too. Support throughout the process from not only a professional, but a person who has been through several versions of this process, is crucial for your sanity and well-being!

***Behavior Mod Package Lessons MUST be used within 1 year of purchase***

  • Dog Behaviors requiring Behavior Modification and not just Obedience Training include:

    • Reactivity- barking, lunging, growling or other “reaction” to triggers such as people, dogs, cars, etc. while walking on leash

    • Separation Anxiety- your dog panics when left alone and may have consistent accidents inside, destroy belongings, escape crates, display internal anxiety like shaking, panting, drooling, inability to eat when alone, pacing, and/or self-harm.

    • Stranger Issues- Growling, snapping, biting at strangers/new people inside or outside the home; anxiety like shaking, peeing, extreme avoidance.

    • Fearfulness- overly stressed when faced with every day things like sounds, other animals, other people, objects, etc.

    • Intra-household issues with other animals- fights/scuffles between dogs, excessive cat chasing, prey drive that is unable to be interrupted with cats/small animals.

    • Anxiety/Depression- does not display “normal” canine behaviors on a daily basis like eating, sleeping, resting, chewing, interacting with members of the family, enjoying experiences outside of the home. May also include OCD behaviors like pacing, spinning, chewing/licking themselves, shadow/light chasing, fly biting, etc.

    • Handling Issues- growls, snaps, bites, or excessively avoids when trimming nails, being groomed, putting on equipment like collar, leash, or harness, or being pet/handled in “normal” ways.

    • Resource Guarding- freezing, growling, snapping, biting, playing excessive keep away with any resource like food, toys, spaces/beds, humans, human things, etc.

    • Housetraining- still experiencing frequent accidents with no correlation to human habits after > 6 months of good potty training habits.

    • Excessive leash pulling- escaping collar/harness often, unable to listen/eat on walks, pulling to the point of self/human injury.
